Dale Leon Hendricks born September 18,1922 in Chatopa, Kansas. He had 2 brothers, losing one to a rifle accident at 6 years old. Soon after joining the navy, where he served 12 years including surviving the attack on Pearl Harbor, he married Laura Cecilia Humphreys. They had two children, his son, William Joseph Hendricks, his daughter, Gale Strickland. They had 4 grandchildren, Blake Rutledge, William Joseph Hendricks 2nd, Laura Hendricks and Jacob Delmonico. And a great grand daughter, Jaelyn Rutledge. He owned and operated "The rebel barber shop" for many years.
