Dale was a major part of my early life. He was a mentor and friend. We lost contact over the years and I finally located him just before I moved out of state. I truly regret not making time to visit him before I left. I've thought of him frequently over the years and only learned of his passing by trying to locate him again. I will continue to miss him and I know I'm a better person from knowing him. My deepest condolences to Sandy and the rest of his family. He impacted my life in a positive way and I'll be ever thankful to him for that. My religion believes that we will all be reunited someday. That belief gives me comfort knowing I will see him again.  May God ease your pain and loss.

I am so sorry that Uncle Dale is gone.  From the first moment I met him, I loved his wisdom and gruff-bluff exterior covering a deeply caring interior.  I learned something new every time I was around Dale, and enjoyed every minute of it.  I'm proud to be his niece.
