Her devotion to children did not end there, but continued throughout her life in many ways. Children were one of her true delights. After that time she worked at Hackbarth Delivery Service as a courier, manager and dispatcher for 26 years. She was an example of the Proverbs 31 woman. She served others with loving kindness, generosity and passion. She took Godly joy in cooking and baking for others. To help widows and widowers through the holidays she would include them in holiday meals. She and her husband Joe spent many afternoons visiting shut ins, nursing homes and hospitals. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend and Christian. She loved with her whole heart. Words cannot capture the beauty her life brought to others.
