Uncle David always sent a card for every occasion. Sometimes his cards reminded me OF the occasions, ha ha.
The one memory we talked about most is how, on every Christmas Eve at his mother's house, making the eggnog in the blender always blew out a fuse and Uncle David would be the one to change it.
The one memory he just shared with me is how he fell off the back of my father's (his brother, Bruce) motorcycle as they were going up a dirt ramp at a construction site for when they were building Interstate 95. They laughed and laughed.
I will miss his being here with us, and every cardless occasion will remind me of him. R.I.P., Uncle David. Thanks for encouraging me to drive out to see you last year.

One of the finest people ever. I will always remember his kind compliments about the music I played and Sunday lunches with Burt and me. Truly a friendship to be treasured.
