My thoughts and prayers will be with him and the whole family.
He has a place in my heart and in heaven but he has left behind a big gap on earth.

To Tia Lee and the Cruz Family, please accept my sincerest condolences. I will remember Tio Desi's sense of humor, telling jokes and stories always with an impish grin on his face. At the gathering for his 90th birthday, Tio wanted all of us to enjoy his love of his extended family and that we certainly did! It was a wonderful time for him and for all those in attendance. He left us with a great sense of pride being a member of the Cruz ancestry. That is how I will remember him – happy and excited, smiling with a glow of satisfaction surrounded by his loving family.
