Diane was born in Chester, South Carolina on January 01, 1938, to her loving parents, Percy and Violet Julian. She was a much-loved wife, devoted mother and grandmother, aunt, and friend. Diane attended Chester High School and Winthrop University. For many years she worked as a cosmetic specialist for CHANEL Cosmetics in Dillards.
Her lifestyle exemplified her kind-heartedness, love, concern for her family and others, and her delightful personality.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Butch Julian; sisters, Boots Conrad, and Mary Diggs; and her parents, Percy and Violet Julian.
Diane will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 68 years, Wallace; children, Lari McGowan of Pensacola, Rene Perry of Snellville, GA, Ryder Thompson of Pensacola and Wesley Shuster, of Gulf Breeze; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2026, at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel, followed by services at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
If friends should desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army in Diane’s memory.
