Dora Ann Everage

July 23, 1946 – November 28, 2025

Dora Everage passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025 in her home in Pensacola, Florida.

Dora was born in McAlester, Oklahoma, and attended Hemet High School in Hemet, CA. She met the love of her life, Sammy Everage, when she was working as a Position Management Secretary for the Naval Hospital of Pensacola. Dora and Sammy married on April 1, 2003.

Dora enjoyed spending time with her family, and enjoyed hobbies such as gardening, cross stitch, and crochet. She would create beautiful crocheted baby blankets and gift them to friends and neighbors who were welcoming new babies.

Dora is survived by her sister Roberta Martin, her children, Lora Lancaster, Robert Lancaster (Tina), and Terri Lancaster (Dhar), David Everage(Melesha), Samantha Everage (Paul), and Alpha Everage(Dale), and 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Dora will always be remembered for her warm laugh, kindness, strength, wisdom, and generosity. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends and may she rest in peace.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Bayview Memorial Park, 3351 Scenic Hwy, Pensacola, FL 32503.
