He is preceded in death by his mother Mozelle Joiner his father Woodie Joiner, his son Bradford Joiner, daughter Linda Faye Joiner, step daughter Sandra Castleberry & grandson Cory McGhee.
He is survived by his wife, Ann F Joiner, his son Darryl Joiner, his sister Linda & (Millard) Nixon, Carolyn & (Hurtis) Riley, step children Jonathan & (Susan) Smith, Jeannie & (Allen) Denton, Scott & (Janice) Smith, his grandchildren; Dori Jones, John & (Chelsea) Smith Jr, Nicole Chapman, Michelle & (John) Brantley, April McGhee, Phoenix D’Alemberte, Angela & (Blake) Miller, Emily & (Evan) Smith, Chris & (Jessica) Schafer, 14 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, 3 nephews, 3 nieces & several cousins.
Earl was a beloved husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Brother, Uncle & Friend and was loved by so many. He truly made a positive & lasting impression on everyone he met and gave the best hugs to everyone!
Earl moved to Pensacola, FL from Chipley, FL in 1959, where he began a 36 year career at Monsanto as a maintenance mechanic. Earl also had many talents throughout his life.
He was an amazing story teller & had a great sense of humor. He was an extremely gifted guitar player & played in several bands including “The Blue Ramblers”, performing country, bluegrass & rockabilly style music throughout the 1960’s.
Earl was also a talented cabinet maker, woodworker, builder & anything that included using his hands. He could fix just about anything he got his hands on. He was an avid gardener, country music & NASCAR fan and loved to travel the world with his beloved wife, Ann, as well as spend time with his family. Heaven just gained another angel & the the world will never be the same without him & his unforgettable bear hugs.
