Edith was born on February 07, 1927, in Andalusia, Alabama. She was a member of Gadsden Street United Methodist Church for over 50 years and loved her church family. Edith was a member of the Daisy Garden Club, the Eastern Star and the Honeybees Homemakers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell Jones and Mary Elizabeth Jones; brother, James Jones; husband, Elmer Crosby; son, E. Russell Crosby and a grandson, Dennis Crosby.
Edith leaves behind her daughters, Monna Silvanic (Ed) and Debra Rawls (Rick); son, James S. Crosby; 8 beloved grandchildren and many loved great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
A private service will be held with interment at Bayview Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be, Weston Rawls, Eddie Silvanic, Drew Lindsey, and Chad Crosby.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Edith’s name to Gadsden Street UMC or Vitas Hospice.
