If you looked up what a "hoot and a holler" meant, that would be Edie! I knew and worked with her for years at SHH. She would make you laugh so hard, your sides hurt...that was Edie! And, if you hadn't seen her in a while, she would come up and give you a big ol' kiss....that was Edie. My heart aches at this loss. She was truly one of a kind and will never be forgotten. My sympathy and prayers are with her entire family. Girl, I sure will miss you!

I knew Edge when she first came to work at Sacred Heart. Had to call her a lot down thru years at work and she was always the same helpful person. Never too busy. Truly heaven has gained a sweet soul.

My prayers and thoughts go out to your family...Eddie always had a smile, and always helpful at work any way you needed her. She was a  real treasure and will be greatly missed.

Bill and Family, our love to all of you at the loss of Edie. Our years of little league baseball together will always be cherished. We love you all as part of our extended family.

We are so sorry to hear about Edie. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Brian and Allison. She was truly one of a kind and will be sorely missed. It was an honor and  privilege to have known her and call her our friend.

My prayers are with the family. Edie gave me so much encouragement these past two years while I was in school and always told me all about her daughter being back in school too. She was so proud of her family! All of us at SHMG are going to miss Edie so much. She is watching over us and sending us hugs and kisses. Edie and I worked together at SHH in the early years and we shared both our pregnancies and kids birthday parties even though we lost touch throughout the years I still kept up with her through other SHH friends. She was one of those people that made you feel better just knowing she was here. It is hard to believe that she is gone. But will always be in my heart. Love you Edie.  Pam

Edie was a special person who brought joy to those she met. I had  the pleasure of knowing her for 21 years, the entire time I've been at Sacred Heart. She gave the best hugs, and was always there to lift the spirits of those around her... Heaven is a lucky place to have her now...

    Did you ever see someone you knew but avoided contact because you were not sure what their mood might be? It was not Edie.
    Did you ever meet someone you have not seen in a couple of days or a couple of years and receive the same generic cool greeting instead of a loud smile and big hug? It was not Edie.
    Did you ever need to ask someone for help but were not sure what the response would be? It was not Edie.
    Did you ever neglect to tell someone who needed help they could call your friend for that help?  Because you knew your friend would not want to be bothered.  Your friend was not Edie.
    If you can say "She will be missed" and move on as usual, then you did not know Edie.
   
 If every time you hear the name"Edie" you have a little ache in your heart, then you knew Edie Rogers.

    So, when you remember Edie, smile, feel one of her big hugs, and move through the day with a little extra bounce in your step….

They say you can't choose your family but that's not true. I was born into the perfect family and I praise God for that, I love y'all.

I married my wife and along with her came a new family I didn't think would ever truly accept me..... I was wrong, I am part of them.
I knew when the day came that I lost any of them I would be sad.... I was wrong, I am devastated.
I knew I'd grow to like my mother in-law over time.... I was wrong, I loved her with all my heart and now there's a hole in it.

Edie was a bowling friend of mine for a few years. She was a warm heart to talk to and was always extra sweet to me and my family. A tragedy indeed. The world has lost another sweet caring lady. Sincerely, Matt and Shelly Marshall

The first day I met you, you kissed me on the head and told me everything would be okay.  You love me unconditionally and looked out for me here on earth.  Now you have gone ahead to be my guardian angel and I will never be alone.  Wait for me, I need you still..with all my heart, I love you mostest!

To Bill and family, please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Edie gave so much of herself to others and never asked for anything in return.  She took care of my daughter with a mother's love and I will always be blessed for knowing her.  She was an original soul of energy and love and is greatly missed!

To the entire family of Edie, especially Bill.....You could not have had a better friend than Edie.  She always had a kiss and a hug for you.  I met Eddie and Bill before she even had her babies. I stopped bowling a long time ago but she was still there all the time throwing that ball....she loved it.  Before I retired from Wal-Mart, she and Bill were in there all the time so I saw her a lot even since I stopped bowling.  When I look back on this now, I think this was God's way of us being able to say good-bye.  I was having eye surgery in July and she was having ear surgery.  She was truly one of a kind and had MANY friends who will miss her terribly.  God Bless!

I want to extend my deepest sympathy to Bill and the entire family. I never got the pleasure of meeting Edie, but my close friends Danelle and Nate have had nothing but good to say about the lovely lady. God bless all of you at this time and you have my prayers.
