Edwin T. H. Hansen

January 13, 1976- August 24, 2026

Edwin T.H. Hansen, 50, transitioned to his Heavenly home. His life had been marked by steady purpose, quiet strength, and a sincere devotion to the people he held dear.

From an early age, Edwin embraced the values of service, becoming an Eagle Scout. He was a member of the tennis team and graduated from Washington High School. Edwin earned his bachelor's degree at Georgia Tech and was in the Kappa Alpha Order. Later he became a U.S. Marine and served two terms in Djibouti, Africa.

Above all, Edwin loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran. The family is grateful for their prayers and to the doctors at the VA and Sacred Heart.

He is survived by his parents: Edwin Leonard Hansen Jr. & Susan Griscom Johnson Hansen. Also by his son, Aidan Edwin Hansen with Stephanie Lossner Hansen. Also by his cousin Erik Hansen (Angie).

He is preceded in death by his grandparents: Edwin Leonard Hansen Sr., Helen Ross Kohler Hansen, Clement Griscom Johnson and Myrtle Armstrong Johnson.

Interment will be at St. Johns Cemetery at a later date.
