Elaine Watson

Elaine Watson, born on March 17, 1954, passed away on November 7, 2025, at the age of 71. A resident of Pensacola, Florida, Elaine was a beloved member of her community and cherished by her family and friends.

Elaine dedicated her life to the field of nursing. She gained her nursing degree and worked as a Nurse for over 30 years before retiring. Her career was primarily focused on long-term and skilled nursing, where she made a significant impact through her dedication and compassion.

Beyond her professional life, Elaine had a passion for cooking, spending time with her family and friends, yearly trips to Port St Joe, FL, camping and going hunting with her husband, Wayne. Elaine's love for her family was evident in the joy she found in spending time with her grandchildren whenever she had the opportunity.

Elaine is survived by her husband of 33 years, Wayne Watson; her son, Bobby (Erin) Harlan; step-daughter, Sheena Elaine Watson; grandchildren, Abigail Harlan, Emily Harlan and Ivy Harlan; siblings, Debbie (Skip) Farley and Rocky (Sylvia) Bloodsworth; several nieces and nephews; a beloved best friend of many-many years, Georgia; and a faithful canine companion, Buddy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Iris Bloodsworth, and a brother, Howard Bloodsworth.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at 9:00 am at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, located at 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL., with a funeral service to begin at 10:00 am.

Elaine will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her memory will be cherished forever.
