Eleanor was born February 8, 1930 in Pensacola. She was a founding member of the Pick and Poke Garden Club and enjoyed working with flowers. She was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and especially enjoyed serving on the Alter Guild.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Ted and Paula Kast, brothers, Bobby, Teddy, and Harold Kast and daughter Joanne Perry.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Bill Mashburn, son David (Debbie) Mashburn, brother, Gerald Kast, sister-in-law Joanne Kast, a maternal aunt, four cousins and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Bayview Fisher- Pou on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10:00 am with Pastor Randy Blankschaean officiating. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am on Monday till the service starts.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church of Covenant Hospice of Pensacola.
