Ellen E. Duncan

1920 – 2012

Ellen Eileen Duncan, 91, of Pensacola, passed away Monday, July 16, 2012 at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home.

She proudly served in the United States Navy as a Navy Wave retiring after twenty years of service. Ellen was an avid supporter of women’s athletics, particularly women’s softball. She was the #1 fan of the Women’s Pensacola Roadrunners Softball team for many years.

Ellen was survived by her nieces, Ellen Duncan White and Patricia McElfresh; and her lifelong friend, Betty Lou Gray.

The family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff at Rosewood Manor Nursing Home for their many years of excellent love and care for Ms. Duncan.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Barrancas National Cemetery with full military honors. The procession will depart the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. for the cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
