Please accept my condolences on the loss of Mrs. Gilbert. Her obituary caught my eye because of her military service. I wanted to make sure her service was recognized, so I have sent her obituary with a donation to register her with the Women in Military Service to America (WIMSA) memorial foundation in case she was not already registered

Since you included her military service in the obituary, you were obviously very proud of her service, as am I. Please consider contacting WIMSA (womensmemorial.org) to give them more details, perhaps even copies of photos or other documents, from her service.

The service for your Mom was very touching and really nice. In listening to all of the words describing her life, you all have some wonderful memories to cherish in your thoughts and hearts until you meet again.
It was very heart warming to meet some of the family members and friends. Again, we offer our deepest sympathy. God bless you all.
