Ellis was born in Hampton Virginia, November 10, 1946 to parents Sam Perlman and Malvina Ellis. His father was in the army and he moved with his family before settling in Pensacola.
In life, he was outgoing, caring, and kind; someone who people gravitated towards. Ellis was a talented brick mason with great attention to detail and his work stands today on historical buildings and countless homes in the Pensacola area. He loved riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and the freedom of the open road. Ellis enjoyed being the life of the party but also quiet days at home with his wife, Kaye, and their dog, Chester.
A memorial service is scheduled for 1PM Thursday July 1, 2021 at Gonzalez United Methodist Church 2026 Pauline St, Cantonment, FL, 32533. During this time, we will share memories and celebrate his life and love for everyone.
