Emma Howenstein of Lake Mary, Florida, passed away peacefully Easter Sunday Morning, April 17, 2022. Emma was born in Malden, Missouri and lived in Detroit and Pensacola Florida prior to relocating to Lake Mary to be closer to family.
She is preceded in death by her sister Dorothy and her beloved husband of 66 years Edmund.
Surviving are her son Ed (Nancy), Grandchildren Matthew (Terra) ,Kimberly (Mitchell), Ryan, Andrea and Great Grandchildren Eloise, Nell and Jackson.
Emma worked as a Red Cross volunteer at the Information Desk, Navy Hospital, Pensacola for 15 Years.
Funeral arrangements are being handled by Oak Lawn Funeral Home, Pensacola. Visitation to be held on May 2, 2022 at Oak Lawn Funeral Home from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm followed by a Funeral Mass on NAS Pensacola's Lady of Loretto Chapel at 1:00 pm and burial at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation to St Jude Children's Hospital.
