Evelyn Alida Herlikofer

Evelyn realized her childhood dream of becoming a pilot, and went on to become part owner and Vice President of Ferguson Flying Services Inc. where she was Director of flight training at the Veterans' Administration approved flight school. Her love of flying and teaching kept her busy training many pilots during her career as a flight instructor.

She was also an avid scuba diver and underwater photographer.

Her love for Jesus had her serving at Bayside Baptist Church in Lillian, Alabama, where she was a founding member.

Evelyn was a loving mother of her two children, Diane and Mike.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Philip and Alida Potzner; her husband, James Herlikofer; her sister, Lorraine; and brother, William.

Evelyn is survived by her two children; Diane Hermecz and Michael Herlikofer and wife; three grandchildren, Christian, Sasha, and Marni; one great grandchild, Violet; and beloved nieces and nephews.
