Evi Marie Knott

Evi Marie (Herz) Knott, 79, of Pensacola, FL, passed away on August 21, 2024. She was born April 7, 1945 in Langen, Germany. Cherished wife to Dennis Knott, her husband of over 60 years, whom she met on her 18th birthday in Bremerhaven, Germany while he was serving in the US Navy.

She is predeceased by her parents Heinrich and Ella Emma Herz and her brother Hans Jürgen Herz (Brigitte), all of Bremerhaven,Germany. She is also, predeceased by her beloved grandson Aaron Zachary Knott who she missed every single day.

Surviving family members are her daughter Sheila Hagen (Hans) of Pensacola, FL; her son Steven Knott of Gulf Breeze, FL; five granddaughters Taylor Vanbramer (Zachary), Casey Hagen, Jordan Hagen, Ryan

Hagen all of Syracuse, NY and Hannah Knott of Pensacola, FL; great granddaughter Harper Rose Vanbramer of Syracuse, NY and a great grandbaby on the way; niece Heike DuVall (Ricki) and nephew Bernd Reichenspurner (Thomas); and great niece Renée DuVall; along with many other loving relatives and friends.

She deeply loved and cared for her family and loved traveling the world, gardening, and music.

Police escort procession will depart Oak Lawn Funeral Home at 0930 for burial service at Barrancas National Cemetery on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024. Arrangements provided by Oak Lawn Funeral Home.
