

Frank passed away with cancer. He spent his time at Whispering Pines Assisted Living in Pensacola, Florida. The staff members became so familiar that they became family also. We know if Frank could he would thank them all for the time he spent there. The family would like to thank the wonderful ladies who helped him so much during this time. Thank you Ty, Trina, Criss, Krystle, Theresa, Gwendolyn, Leola and Reggie D. We are so thankful for the love and support shown to Frank in his final days..
Frank graduated from Escambia High School. After high school Frank was drafted into the Army, where he spent his time in White Sands, New Mexico, and then went to Germany. Frank went to Pensacola Junior College and then on to Dirt Track Motorcycle Racing.
Frank is survived by his sister, Irene Lysek Forck (Sam) of Kansas, brother, John Lysek (Diane) of Pensacola, brother, Bruce Lysek (Gina) of South Carolina, and sister, Tina Lysek Hermen of North Carolina.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Peter J. Lysek of Pensacola, Florida.
Frank leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members whose lives he touched with love.
Frank always had a big smile on his face for everyone he met.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Lysek of Alabama, Larry Lysek of Texas, and Patricia Lysek of
Pensacola, Florida.
A graveside service for Frank will be held Wednesday, February 21, 2024, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Road, Pensacola, FL 32508.
