I met Fred at PJC and we became friends. We played a lot of tennis together and it was Fred who taught me how to serve. I will forever remember him as a kind man who loved the outdoors

I knew Fred through the Florida Trail Association we hiked together. He taught me a lot about backpacking and hiking and using a compass. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot from him. I missed him when he stopped hiking with us. So sorry to hear of his passing.
