He was the beloved husband of Antoinette Sanders, with whom he shared 61 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, George was the son of the late George Sanders Sr. and Ruth Wilkenson. A proud United States Marine Corps veteran, George served his country honorably during the Vietnam War era. Following his military service, he became a successful entrepreneur, founding Pudgie's Chicken (later renamed Crumbsnatchers) in 1981 and building a thriving business through hard work, passion, and dedication.
Above all, George was most admirably a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle. Family was the cornerstone of his life, and he took immense pride in those he loved.
He is survived by his loving wife, Antoinette; his devoted children, Coreen Talbot, Sean Sanders and his wife Kathy, and Candice Sanders; his cherished grandchildren, Nadeen Talbot, Dylan Talbot, Shane Sanders, and Lea Sanders and her husband Dan Stokes; his great-grandchildren, Soriya Stokes and Adegun Stokes; his dear sisters, Sandra Mauro and Donna Fanion; and his niece, Robin Mauro, as well as his nephews, Ricky Mauro and Robert Mauro.
