Gina was born on May 5, 1986 in Quezon Province, Philippines. The daughter of Gemma Cabuyao and Angelito Panaligan Quiminiano and raise by her step father Manolito Cabuyao. She was the oldest of four siblings (Ruby, Jeff, and Lito) in 2001, Gina and her family moved to the United States. She graduated from Pine Forest High School in 2005.
She married Martheen on August 22, 2009 and had two children, Nyle and Nathan. Gina was co-owner of RubyGin Filipino restaurant, lovingly named after her and her little sister Ruby. Gina was a natural born leader. She took great care of her employees and provided a happy work environment. She prided herself in providing her customers with outstanding service. Her leadership and culinary skills attained RubyGin restaurant’s success. Gina had an angelic voice. She loved to sing, she implemented and hosted karaoke nights which garnered greater success for her restaurant. Gina’s warm and welcoming personality made her patrons feel at home. She transformed RubyGin restaurant to the wholesome family restaurant that it is today.
Gina was a beloved wife, mother, and aunt. She loved to spend time with family and friends. Gina loved to babysit her nephew and niece. She spoiled them and she’s the cool auntie everyone wished they had. Gina was very outgoing and down to earth. She lived life to the fullest. She enjoyed travelling to visit different places, especially on spontaneous road trips. Gina had profound love for her family and friends. She was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. She was thoughtful and caring.
Gina’s memory will be cherished and kept alive by her loving husband, her two children, her parents and siblings.
A mass will be held at Little Flower Catholic Church, 6495 Lillian Hwy, Pensacola, FL at 11: 00 am followed by a celebration of her life will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL from 1:00p.m.-7:00p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020
