Born and raised in Naples, Italy, a dedicated Navy wife and mother of five (Dennis Haugen, Maggie Taylor, Gerald Haugen, and Andrew Haugen, with a cherished memory of their departed daughter, Angela Haugen), Giuseppina's commitment extended beyond the home, actively shaping her children's character.
She leaves a legacy of ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Giuseppina's love, vibrant spirit, and unique laugh will be forever cherished. Her impeccable style, love for singing, and joyous presence made every gathering memorable. She always gave her all, embodying a superior work ethic in every aspect of her life.
A generous soul, Giuseppina's passion for Italian cuisine and hosting at her home brought people together. As we bid farewell, we celebrate her life of love, resilience, and a generosity that touched many. May her memory bring comfort, and her legacy of love endure in the hearts of those who knew her as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother or friend.
Visitation for Giuseppina will be held on Feb 19, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. A Rosary will be led by the priest at 10:00 AM.
Following the visitation, the burial will take place at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
