Marie was born December 27, 1928 in Pensacola, Florida to Will Owen Scott and Mary Howard Scott. She was employed with Gulf Power from which she retired after 25 years of service. Marie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was very active with mission work through the church. She and her husband were volunteers at the Pensacola Florida Family History Center.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie Nichols and brother, Will Owen Scott, Jr.
Marie has one daughter, Marcia Brewton and her husband, Robert; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, August 25, 2017 at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel. Interment will be held at Bayview Memorial Park.
