Goldie Silverthorne went to heaven on June 08, 2014. She was born to Charlie and Sally Thompson on January 24, 1924 in Munson, FL.

She volunteered at Baptist Hospital for 16 years and did store demonstrations for 17 years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a charter member of the Westwood Christian Church and loved her church family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, John "Slim"; sister, Jewel Brown; and brother, Maylon Thompson. She is survived by loving and devoted daughter, Dolores Morgan, and son-in-law, Mickey Morgan, who was always there for her; son, Roger and his family; and loving nieces and nephews in California and North Carolina.
