Grace Carol Battaglia, lovingly known to family and friends as Mom and Nana, passed away peacefully at home on July 27, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 30, 1942.
Nana loved the Florida sunshine and beaches, enjoyed fishing, and never passed up the chance to try her luck at the casino. Above all, she cherished her family. She was a devoted mother to Linda, Katie, Joe Jr., Ava, Ruby, Angela, and Andy, and a beloved grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Joe; her daughters, Katie and Ruby; and her great-grandson, Kaleb.
Visitation will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506, US, on August 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will take place at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, 619 New Warrington Road, Pensacola, FL 32506, US, on August 5, 2026, at 12:00 pm.
A Committal Service will be held at Barrancas National Cemetery, 1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508, US, on August 5, 2026, at 2:00 pm. Services will conclude after committal at the base.
