Grady Stokes Jr.

Buddy was born in Brewton, Alabama, June 16, 1930 to Grady Stokes, Sr. and Martha Bradley Stokes. He worked as an electronic technician with Sears, retiring after 25 years of service. Buddy retired from the U. S. Air Force. He was an active member of Burgess Road Baptist Church. Buddy loved to fish, hunt and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his morning breakfast with his retirement buddies.

Preceding Buddy in death is his wife, Anna; son, John and his parents.

Buddy is survived by his sons, David Stokes (Samantha) and Jimmy Stokes (Lori); daughters, Susan Williams (Craig), Patsy Reeves (Barry) and Debbie Hightaian (Greg); 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; and his companion Bobbie Lee.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.until 11:00 a.m. at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel with services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Bayview Memorial Park.
