Harold L Allen

Harold L. Allen, 93, of Milton, FL, passed away on October 20, 2023. He was born on September 9, 1930, in Dunn, NC. Curley, as he was known to his close friends, is survived by his sons Scott Allen and Mark Allen, daughter-in-law Kathy Allen, granddaughters Tara Allen and Tiffany (Allen) Gallo, and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Pamela Allen.

Curley proudly served in the Navy for 30 years, demonstrating his unwavering dedication and commitment to his country. His military associations were a significant part of his life, and he carried out his duties with honor and distinction.

After retiring from the Navy, Curley pursued a career as a Rural Postal Carrier, Merchant Marine, and served as a Notary.

A service to honor Curley's life will be held at Oak Lawn Funeral Home in Pensacola, Florida on October 25, 2023, at 9am. Following the service, a Military Honors Burial will take place at Barrancas National Cemetery at 10am. The processional will depart from the service at Oak Lawn at 9:45am.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, a cause that was close to Curley's heart.
