Harry P. Barraclough Sr. 87 of Pensacola, died Tuesday, May 3, 2016. He was born to Harry and Mamie (Savageau) Barraclough on November 6, 1928 in Sanford Maine. He retired after 31 years of service as a veteran of the United States Navy and member of the VFW. After serving in the Navy he worked at Sun Trust Bank as a vault manager where he made his final retirement.
He graduated from PJC with a degree in criminal justice. He was also an active member at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church. Harry enjoyed yard work as well as traveling.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gladys of 67 years, his parents and his sister Tillie. Survivors include his sons Harry P. Barraclough Jr. (Jennifer) of Cantonment, Mark A. Barraclough (Kaye) of Naples, Italy. Daughters Nancy Bloodgood of Cantonment, Maureen Murphy of Cantonment, and Cynthia Walker (Michael) of Danville, West Virginia, 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
