Helen Frances "Nana" Fulton

Helen Frances Fulton “Nana”, March 4, 2014, went to be with the Lord to continue her journey of eternal life. Helen was preceded in death by a son, Richard Fulton and a grandson, Clifford Fulton. Survivors include her beloved husband of 64 years, Forrest M. Fulton; her daughter, Cheryl (Paul) Fritz of Pensacola, FL; a daughter-in-law, Marsha Fulton of Cantonment, FL; grandchildren, Ashley (Jason) Caudle and Richard Jr. (Dawn) Fulton; great grandchildren, Kaleb, Bryce and Hanna Caudle and Natasha and Brynlie Fulton; great great grandchildren, Damien, Nathan and Alijha Fulton; special family members Fran Bush and Betsy Reichert; and her canine companion, Ruby. Helen was a member of Covenant Orthodox Presbyterian Church, the Eastern Star and Past Mother Advisor for Rainbow Girls. She loved gardening and furnishing a smorgasboard for the neighborhood birds and of course a few squirrels too, traveling out west, in the great outdoors and camping. She was always a wonderful wife, mom, nana and friend to all who knew her. She had a big heart full of love and compassion for the homeless and others who were in need. She touched many lives and will be missed, but we know she is at peace with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and other family members. Special thanks and appreciation goes to all of our family members, friends and co-workers who have been there with their love, support and prayers. Last, but not least, our wonderful Covenant Hospice Staff who took such special care and entered our hearts. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 2 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home with Reverend John Schortmann officiating. Interment will follow in Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the service hour. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice. Condolences may be sent to the family at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr Fulton, with sadness I read of your wife's passing. Although I did not know her, I have high regard for you as my mentor and as a professional. Additionally, I am acquainted with Cheryl and Paul here on campus. Please accept my condolences and sympathy. Tim Edwards, SHH RT School alumnus.

Dear Mr. Fulton, Cheryl and family,
I met Helen in 1977 when I began Sacred Heart's x-ray school. Helen would always bring a smile to my face. She was such a happy and loving woman, the perfect wife for Forrest. She played along with all of his teasing & outrageous photos "of her" that he showed his students! Helen told me she got the biggest kick out of seeing the looks on his student's faces when they finally met her!
We both are very fond of Helen and Forrest. We will keep you and your family in our prayers.
