Helen Ruth Sample Graham

Ruth was born on September 13, 1933 in Walnut Hill, FL to Louis Caleb Sr. and Bessie Leona (Moye) Sample. She graduated from Ernest Ward High School in 1951 and married Ernest Webb Graham on May 9, 1954. Together they raised three children: Judi, Kevin and Janna.

Ruth loved and cared abundantly for her family. She was a homemaker during the early years of her children’s lives, and it gave her great joy to provide a beautifully decorated and clean home for her family.

She loved the Lord and professed her faith through her membership with Plainview Baptist Church since 1959. She made sure her children were in Church with her and Ernie.

Later she worked with Escambia County School Board for eighteen years. Her hobbies were shopping, shopping, and shopping.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, nine siblings, her beloved grandson, Brandon, and her husband, Ernie, who was the love of her life. She is survived by her three children, Judi (Kevin) Picard. Kevin Graham and Janna Nash; grandchildren, Jordan and Nina Gann, Cheyenne (Nathan) White and Lexie Nash; great grandchildren, Presley, Aspyn, Hazel, Dawsyn and Sadie, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.

Friends are cordially invited to a Visitation with the family from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 W. Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534 with a Service immediately following at 2:00 pm.
