
Helen Morgan Kelly, of Pensacola, Florida, passed away on September 2, 2026, at the age of 93. Helen was born on November 17, 1932, in Morrilton, Arkansas. She had lived in Pensacola since the early 1950’s. In her early career, she worked as a telephone operator for Southwest Bell. She later worked for the Escambia County school system for many years and retired from George Stone Vocational school as school secretary in the 1990’s. Helen enjoyed teaching Sunday school and Ladies bible classes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William E. Morgan, Sr. and Helen Jackson and her brother, W.E. Morgan, Jr. She is survived by three children: Stephen Kelly (Natasha), Susan Jacques (Scott) and Kimberly Dillard (Erick); five grandchildren: Vala Kelly, Kevin Jacques (Lauren), Kristina Jacques, Alena Dillard and Daniel Dillard; one great-grandchild, Marceline Jacques; sister-in-law, Bobbye Morgan; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to thank the Vitas Hospice staff and the staff at Brookdale Senior Living for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Bayview Fisher-Pou Chapel on Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, followed by a graveside service at Bayview Memorial Park at 3:00 PM.
