One of the nicest people I have ever met-as is his whole family. As a musician I can tell you that if everyone loved music as much as Howard the world would be a much happier place. He made me proud to be a musician. I hope his wonderful family will be O.K. The last time I saw Howard and his family was at another friend's funeral- so typical of their respect and love for music. I had no idea he would be gone so soon. Love you, man.

I took great joy in knowing Howard from Mayor Bob's entourage at the beach. Tell Bill I said hello old buddy.
