Dusty leaves his loving wife Becky, his grandchildren Cameron, Caleb, and Caitlin. Sisters Suzie and Margaret and his Aunt Ruby Oliver, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. His four legged fur baby friends Tide and Sugar. Dusty was preceded in death by his sons Thomas and Tobey.
Dusty was raised in Verona, North Carolina. He moved to Pensacola at age 11. Dusty made a profession of Faith at Fairfield Drive Baptist Church where he met his wife, Becky. Dusty and Becky were married for 50 years.
Dusty was a veteran of the United States Army with the rank of Sergeant and served our Country in several states and in Bamberg, Germany. Dusty was a Patriot and loved our great Nation. He worked a short time in the oilfield in Louisiana. Dusty was a licensed Diesel and heavy duty mechanic. Dusty owned and operated Automotive Services, Downtown Pensacola, Florida for 15 years. He enjoyed working with his sons on vehicles, and teaching others how to work on vehicles. He enjoyed Hunting and Fishing with his friends the Bosso Boys. He was an avid NASCAR fan and for many years was a member of Elk Lodge 497. Dusty was a die-hard Alabama fan (Roll Tide). He and Becky were members of Tate Quarter Back Club during Thomas’ four years playing football at Tate. Dusty loved people and was a very devoted friend to many. He was a grill master, hosting many barbeques for years. Dusty enjoyed listening to Country Western Music, and playing softball.

A visitation for Dusty will be held Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534. A funeral service will occur Monday, December 12, 2022 at 1:00 PM, 1985 West Nine Mile Road, Pensacola, FL 32534, with a committal prayer service with military honors to follow.
Dusty will be laid to rest in Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers are Kevin Bosso, Cameron Teachey, John Breamser, Travis Ellison, Brandon Davis and Devin Steadham.
