Kin was born in Pensacola and lived there all throughout his life. He graduated from Woodham High School in 1977. Kin began working in the construction industry at age 16 and started his own business, K. T. Construction Home Repair, LLC, in 1991. He owned and operated K. T. Construction until his retirement in 2021. Kin enjoyed throwing parties for his family, watching Alabama football with his son, and going on trips with his wife, especially to Biloxi.
He is preceded in death by his father, Howard Thrash, Sr., and his stepmother, Ella Thrash.
He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Debra “Debbie” Thrash, his mother, Catherine “Pat” Thrash, his son and daughter-in-law, Travis and Lynsey Thrash, his grandsons, William and Harrison Thrash, his stepbrothers Dewayne and Darrell Smith, and his semi-adopted son, as Kin lovingly called him, Tyler Wynn.
Kin loved his family and friends, and everyone loved him. He will be missed dearly.
Kin’s family will hold a celebration of his life on Saturday, July 15th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Gonzalez United Methodist Church , 2026 Pauline St, Cantonment, FL 32533. Feel free to come share a story about Kin or just pay your respects.
