Ina Pearl Ahearn

Pearl was born September 18, 1946 to James and Tommie (McKnight) Medders in Choctaw County, Mississippi. Pearl loved gardening, spending time with her 3 grandchildren, and her dog Ginger. She was an extremely talented florist and worked as such for many years. She married John Joseph Ahearn, Jr. and together they had 3 sons.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents James Dillard Medders and Tommie Ethel McKnight Medders, her husband, John Joseph Ahearn, Jr., her brothers Douglas Medders and James Thomas Medders, her sisters Nellie Faye Burden, Charlene Rushing, and Betty Jean Bowen.

Pearl is survived by her son, Patrick Ahearn and Wife Carolyn of Warner Robins, GA; Son, John Ahearn and Wife Kim of San Antonio, TX; Son, Steve Ahearn and Wife Candice of Clarksville, TN; Sister, Thelma Painter of Timberlake, NC; Sister, Ann Patridge of Eupora, MS; Sister, Ethelene Hodges of Eupora, MS; Sister, Eara Bell Hallford of Daleville, AL; Brother, Clyde Medders of Eupora, MS; Brother, Rayburn Medders of Eupora, MS; Grandchildren: Matthew Ahearn, Zachary Ahearn, and Keeley Ahearn.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 19, 2019 from 10 AM until 12 PM at Eastern Gate Memorial Chapel followed by a 1pm graveside service at Barrancas National Cemetery at Naval Air Station Pensacola. Rev. Ken Griffen will officiate the services.

Eastern Gate Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
