Pastor Courtney was a dear friend to my family ... He hired me at First Assembly of God as the church secretary ... as a result I retired from working in churches after 25 years ... He has a very special place in my heart ... love to Janet and Renee ...

We were sorry to hear about your loss.  But he is in Heaven with Ruth now.  They were both special people.  I remember Ruth wrote the song "We Are Old Friends" for the ladies in Old Friends group that met once a month.  And Jim always had a smile on his face.

Miss you already Uncle Jim.  Thank you for the spiritual guidance you gave to me.  You were a wonderful pastor and very funny uncle.
