Born in Pascagoula Mississippi on August 2, 1946, Jim was raised and lived most of his life in Pensacola. He joined the Air Force as a young man where he worked as a mechanic on B-52 engines during the Vietnam War. Returning home to Pensacola he met and married his wife of nearly 55 years Linda. Jim worked as an Auto Body Technician repairing cars for almost 40 years.
Jim enjoyed watching NASCAR races, spending time on the water fishing, water skiing, and scuba diving. After his retirement he and Linda purchased an RV and used it to travel around the Unites States with their two dogs Dexter and Pepper.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother Ola Mae, father Dallas, step father George, brother William, half brother Steve, and half sister Marie.
Jim is survived by his wife Linda and their three children Katherine “Katie”, Adam (wife Fran), and Tracy (husband Joey).
To honor Jim’s wishes there will be no funeral service.
