1983-2018
Jason L. Strother was born in Pensacola, Florida on September 11, 1983. He was a life-long resident of Pensacola. Jason went to be with the Lord on March 27, 2018. He accepted Christ as his savior at Burgess Road Baptist Church.
He is survived by his parents, Timothy and Elizabeth (Dawson) Strother; sister Jessica (Jason) Rigsby, their children: Hailey and Tyler; brother Jay (Brittney) Strother, their children: Cody, Hannah and Ashley; brother Jacob Strother and his son Jadon; grandmother Jeanette (Wise) Strother; his uncle Troy (Kris) Strother and their three children; his very close cousins Heather and Donnie McCoy and their five children; Wayne, Jr. and his wife Janice and their two children; Chris Strother and his daughter; Jennifer (Mike) Tanner and their two children and Chase Strother. He was preceded in death by uncles Michael Terrence “Terry” Strother and Wayne Anthony “Tony” Strother.
Jason was a very talented artist, having sold many of his works locally. He loved to draw, paint and color, loved the outdoors, fishing and going to the beach. He was a free-spirited, one-of-a-kind person. He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home, immediately followed by a service, officiated by Pastor Bill Adams of Smyrna Baptist Church.
