Waffle House was definitely a family and I met Jeff through his Mobile Highway store and his friendship with my husband, Johnathon.  We moved away, but returned to visit frequently and I always dropped in for breakfast.  Jeff always had a smile, a kind word or hello and would often come by our table to chat.  We had many a conversation catching up and talking about how much our children had grown.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Jeff's passing.  It was crushing to hear and I feel for his family and all his store employees.  You could tell he was the much beloved leader of a close-knit team.

I had the honor on meeting Jeff just once on a cold day.  His daughter and himself was meeting me to pick up a doggie bed his Momma sent for him.  From the moment we met, he was kindhearted and friendly.  He made me feel as if we’d known each other for years.  It saddens me that I was not able to meet his bride and family but know that he looks down on you protecting you and loving you.  My deepest Sympathies to all of you.  God has him close.  God Bless

You were one great guy, I will never forget the fun we had back in Tallahassee at Kool Beanz Cafe.  We kept in touch over the years and to this day I still tell stories of our good times.  Thank you for being a great friend.

 He Had the best smile,great sense of humor,He loves his store.
And loved his kids!
He even came by our house to visit my 85 year old father on hospice ,
Monday he stop by brought my dad a pie 
He would always with a smile say to my dad”hey buddy what’s up”

I am so thankful to have known this man to have been able to love this man and have his amazing son. He has left us all with so many memories that fill our hearts. I will always remember the bond he had with our Sawyer... and our weird sense of humor that had us laughing always.. I will never forget the look on his face when he looked at Ryker and Shyla... these memories will keep me going ..along with his voice constantly in my head saying "suck it up" I know he is smiling and I know he is proud! RIP baby 

Remembering when Jeffrey was just little thing....gardening with his Papa in the backyard  in Niceville .  Driving the gocart... his smile and laughter was contagious  even then.
He was a wonderful little boy...
And became a very gracious man.
A son...a brother...a nephew...a father.   God has Jeffrey now...he is in wonderful hands.

Jeff Its Always That One Person in your Life That You Feel Is NEVER Suppose To Leave , NEVER Suppose To Get Hurt  . Jeff, Was Not Only My Manager , He Was My Friend . He Has Been My Manager For Over 4 Years & I Have Grown A Bond With Him . He Played a really big role in my life . He was so kind hearted , so sweet , he would listen to anything & give out great advice . Waffle house will not be the same without him .
