

Jennifer Teck Miebach went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, after a long illness. She will be missed by many for her kindness. She was a “Grandma” to many within her friendship. She was born in New Albany, Indiana, on April 13th, 1946 to Anna Nilson Teck and Jules S. Teck. Later she lived in Louisville, Kentucky and then Pensacola, Florida. After graduation from Escambia High, she began working for Southern Bell Telephone Company in Pensacola and then transferred to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, where she retired and moved back to Pensacola.
Jennifer was active with Special Olympics both here and in Ft. Lauderdale. Her daughter, Julie Ann Miebach, (deceased) had Spina Bifida and participated in many of the sports. Jennifer was active in her church in Ft. Lauderdale and was a Stephen Minister. She and Julie had attended Cokesbury United Methodist Church.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Ann Miebach.
She leaves behind a sister, Marsha Teck Overton (Ray), Pensacola; a sister, Erma Tarle, Irwin, PA; Nephews Stephan (Kay), Christopher (Lisa) and grand nephews, Ethan, Aiden, and Julian McGee-Overton; Mark and Brian Tarle; a dear friend, Jerry Standland, who had helped with Julie for over twenty years; also the many friends she loved.
We wish to thank the doctors, nurses, and the many friends that attended to her. A Celebration of Life Service for family and close friends will be held at Bayview Fisher-Pou on Scenic Hwy at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 17th. The Service will be “Streamed” on Facebook, (or www.bayviewfisher-pouchapel/live) for the many friends that live out of town. Pastor Sheila Bates, from Cokesbury United Methodist Church will be presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jennifer’s name to Covenant Care Pensacola or Cokesbury United Methodist Church, www.CokesburyChurch.com.
