Jeri Y. Luker Peters (Metcalfe) was called home on Friday, April 10, 2020, Good Friday. She had no fear, as she knew where she was going. Jeri had a very strong relationship with God and her Savior, Jesus Christ, therefore, there is absolutely no doubt that she is in Heaven with her baby sister and parents. Jeri felt so much comfort from all who prayed for her during her bravely fought seven year battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis, as she was loved by all who knew her. She will be so very much missed always. Just as she was a blessing to her loved ones, her loved ones were a blessing to her.
Jeri was born in Dublin Texas on February 07, 1946 to Roy and Thelma Luker. She moved to Gulf Breeze in 1979 from Clarksville, Tennessee. Being a native of Texas she was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed playing community volleyball and softball for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Thelma Jo Luker; sister, Shana Jackson.
She is survived by her sons, Eddy H. Metcalfe, wife Kendra and Marc A. Metcalfe, wife, Rhea; former husband, Ed H.
