Grandaddy never ever missed a game, he is my biggest supporter and everything I do will be for him. When he lived with us we went to jimmy's grill so often it became a daily thing. He took me to the bus stop and came and got me in the afternoons from school. The second we saw his purple truck we knew he had to get it, he told me that truck is ours and he got it for us. He was and always will be my best friend. We talked about so much and we were always (secretly) making fun of people lol. I know you'll be with me in my heart for every single game now and every play and hit will be for you! I love you so much and I miss you more than anything, but you're in a better place and I know you're with Granny. Give her a big hug for me💜

Although I didn't know Jerry up close I know he was loved by all of his family especially his sister Adele. May he find peace and be pain free.

I was very lucky to spend the last week with uncle Jerry And I cherish that time with him. His great nieces and nephews continue to talk about the big cabin on the hill and the memories they were able to share. You will be missed always, but I know your with aunt Betty and my dad..and always with us.

Uncle Jerry was a wonderful man. On his last week with us he celebrated his great nephew birthday. He was always full of life and always teasing. Uncle Jerry was a outgoing man, kind and caring. I will always remember him in the highest appreciation and gratitude for all he did for me. He will be truly missed but in my heart always. Now my Aunt and my dad have him now and he at peace!

There are so many memories I have of him but the one I know everyone has experienced is him yelling "war damn eagle" everywhere he went, not caring at all if he embarrassed you!
Not only was he an amazing grandfather but great grandfather as well! No matter who you are, he was and will forever be "Grandaddy" to everyone. I am so blessed Kaden had so many years with him and that he was able to be here for Jaxons birth.

He most definitely knew how to make you laugh, whether he was picking on you or telling (dirty) jokes! Grandaddy was the one person that was always there for me. He may have been rough around the edges to some but he had a heart of gold!
To all of you ball players, both past to present, I know he has left great memories with all of you!
As my heart is broken to have lost him I am very grateful that I've had almost 30 years with him! I will forever tell my boys about their grandaddy and what an amazing man he was.

Brent and I were so lucky to have had you in our lives. We can’t wait until Norah gets older so we can tell her the story of how her Uncle Jerry made her baby shower even though he was JUST released from the hospital. I’m so thankful you were able to meet her once she got to come home from the hospital. We love and miss you.
Sierra, Brent, and Norah. ❤️
