Born December 22, 1922 to Ernest Julius and Georgia Lenora Seal and passed July 21, 2019 at age 96.
Mr. Casey leaves behind a wife; Rosa L Casey, a son; Jonathan Casey and a daughter; Lee Ila Adams, 4 grandchildren; Christopher, Michael, Georgia, and Dakota and 1 great grandson; Alexander.
He included his wife and children in all he did.
Mr. Casey was born in Deer Range, AL at home. He attended high school in Excel, AL. He served in the Civilian Conservation Corps from which he was released for military service serving in Europe during WW2 and was a combat veteran. He received an Honorable discharge from the army of the United States on January 30, 1949.
In his secular life he was a farmer and builder and opened a local plant nursery which remains in the family.
John became one of Jehovah’s witnesses and continued to minister as such his entire life. I have always know him to have Christ like love for everyone and to stand up against wrong.
He will be sorely missed by his son and the rest of his family.
A visitation will be on Saturday, July 27, 2019 from 9-11 a.m. with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. located at National Cremation & Burial Society in Milton, Florida. An interment will be held Monday, July, 29, 2019 at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida.
