i just found out about john's passing and am deeply saddened by this.  back in 1977 when  I started as the switchboard operator, John would make his way up to the office from his office in the plant and always had a brilliant, ready smile.  he was so kind and easy to talk to and I know his co-workers felt the same way.

blessings to all of you as you go through these most difficult days.. John was one of many of that generation that kept this plant running and successful and will be truly missed 

I work with John for over 25 years, we had many good conversations about life, family and friends that’s in our life, John treated me like a son , I thanked him for his friendship. He will be miss but just know John is in heaven and God is saying my son well done you finish your course, come on up and rest.

My papa was and always will be the most amazing man I ever knew in my life. There never will be another person to stand in the light he made. He taught me how to fish, throw a net, set a net, pull a shrimp net, how to plant food, maintain it, harvest it, and all the values of life I know today. I grew up many years living with him. He was my best friend in the entire world! More memories than I will ever build with anyone else. You couldn't ask for a better role model in life. The world lost one incredible human being when God came to bring him home! There just isn't one bad thing you could ever possibly say about him! He died in the comforts of his own home he built with his own hands with the majority of his immediate family in total peace and comfort and for that I'm happy for him and my nanny. Words cannot express how incredibly lucky I was to have him as a grandfather. I love you forever papa! God bless your soul and rest in peace!

I was always envious of that nice head of hair. John was always kind when we were teen-agers and came to visit. We got to water ski, fish and swim. Him and Daddy took us camping under a bridge one weekend and that is when we learned about Mr. Fibber MaGee. Such good memories.
