I have too say this though we didn't know each other well, I hate too hear of Mr. Laignels Ascension. I say this with every ounce of legit sincerity that I could EVER muster.... My greatest memory would be the very first day I met your son John Jr. I do not know how nor will I ever be capable of replicating that moment but your son is quite possibly the most remarkable individual I have ever known just on a humanistic level & I have too say that he held you in high-regard & concern. Mr. Laignel though your pain is forever gone please please hear me if it possible you can that I thank the Almighty for you and your life because you inadvertently blessed my path too have crossed paths with John Jr. and the ability that man was given too care and too Love without-condition and he doesn't have that ability because of some degree or education the man is quite simply one the best influences I have ever in my 36 years been known too have and if it weren't for him being your namesake and you his Senior I just don't see it possible & for that I am forever grateful. May your rest be all that embodies Peace & Joy that which is unspeakable. God Bless & *hugs* always.

So many memories but I would have to say one of my favorites was back when I was an alter boy. One night the phone rang and John answered with his favorite sayings. Was morks Morg you stab them, we slab them. His face got real solemn. Next thing you heard was. Yes Father just a minute Father. His expression was priceless. No words can express the loss I feel but am so glad his has no more pain. Love you brother

I have so many good memories of John especially the time he and I wore our dress blues to our brother Dave's graduation. He looked really spiffy. We had some fun times during our times together and I find it hard to believe that he is gone. He will never be gone from our hearts. I love and miss you, John.

I have many memories of Uncle Johnny, but 1 I will always appreciate.
I was young when I married and my husband was in the Navy. We were sent to Florida and Uncle Johnny prepared me for some of things I would endure because of this life choice.
I can't go back in time and change the things in our relationship, but I can truly express my love for this knowledge.
There is a whole in my heart now.
We don't have the same religious belief, but I am comforted in my belief. I will someday see a happy, healthy Uncle Johnny.
Love to the kids and Aunt Debbie

I have lots of memories of my brother. However the one that stands out is he was always there when I needed something or help. He was a kind spirit and always loving, caring and giving. I will always love you and miss you. Give my love to all our relatives in Heaven. Bless you and rest in Gods arms.
