John was a great guy to be around, a hard worker, and a dear friend.  He will be missed here at the Kingsport Mill.

I worked several years with John at the Kingsport Paper Mill.  I will always remember John as jovial and kind.  He was always willing to assist me with the Safety related items that I was working on.  Usually our conversations would come around to bass fishing, a hobbie we both thoroughly enjoyed.  I will always remember the year John invited me to fish with him in the Fellowship of Christian Angler tournaments.  We had a great time and I have always appreciated John's kindness and his friendship in asking me to participate with him.  
John will certainly be missed and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.  

John 10:27-29 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Fathers hand.(Jesus speaking)

John was a dear friend of mine for many years.  I have know John for close to twenty years and he has always been a ray of sunshine that would brighten any situation with his energy and enthusiasm.  He has inspired me over the course of knowing him and I know that his place in heaven is one of prominence which is well earned.  He will always be a friend I hold dear.

When I got the call of you passing I almost died myself. You were one of my best friends. We worked together for about 10 years and shared an apartment for almost 2 years. You will truly be missed by me and all of your friends  and anyone who came to know you. To your family, I want you to know that John was the best.

I too was a lucky one to have known, fished, and worked with John.  What a great all-around person - with so, so many positive attributes.  And how sad I was to hear of John's passing - John will be missed.

Words are inadequate at times like these, but the precious, wonderful memories of John Redmon will be shared by all the lives that he touched here at the Domtar Kingsport mill. His smile, laugh and sense of humor will be remembered and missed. John was always ready to help, listen and even share his snacks that he kept in his office. We will miss a wonderful, generous man and are grateful for the opportunity to have known him.

What an honor and privilege it was to have the opportunity to get to know John. We work side by side for only a short while, but his smile, since of humor, & laughter won over everyone here at Domtar, Ashdown. Please accept out condolences for your loss. We were truly saddened with his passing but know that he will live in our hearts forever. Our prayers go out to his entire family and his friends left behind.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of John.  I worked with John for several years at the Domtar Kingsport, TN mill.  He was a very generous man and would do anything for you.  His outlook, love of life, and laugh always perked us up.  I don't remember ever seeing him when he wasn't smiling and had kind words to say.  He never said an ill word about anyone.  I considered John a very good friend and will miss him very much.  John was very dedicated to his work and always took pride in doing a good job.  John touched many lives here at Kingsport and he will be greatly missed.

What a terrific person we have lost.  A huge heart, a humble spirit and a giant laugh were just a few of John's attributes.  John made work and life fun and gave us all many happy memories.  No words can express our sadness at our loss. John will be remembered and missed.

I will truley miss John, One of my best friends and fishin buddies. John & I had worked on and off together for 20+ years.He was always there with a smile and an outstreched hand. Both mine and my wife's prayers and thoughts are with Johns family. He will be missed terribly and will always have a place in our hearts.

Words cannot explain the sadness all of us at SDS felt when hearing the news of John's death.  Not only was he an unbelievable advocate/representative for our company, but he was also a true friend to all of us here.  His smile, quick whit, and loving soul will surely be missed. I was so sorry to hear about John when I cam into work on Monday morning.  I didn't know John that long but he was the sweetest little guy I have ever meet.  I will miss you so much here in Bennettsville, SC.

I was so saddened to hear of John's death. Our offices were side by side for many years in Domtar's Kingsport mill so I heard his laugh and friendly greetings to all who passed by. He was always smiling and in a wonderful mood. He seemed to enjoy life and making others happy. He will be missed deeply.

John Redmon will be missed here at the Kingsport Mill.  We worked with him for years and he was something else.  He always had a winning smile. John was the type of person who would help anyone and you didn't have to ask twice.  John will always be walking the halls of the engineering department.
