John Martin "Big John" Weimorts, age 65 of Seminole, Al passed away on Sept. 22, 2013. John was the owner of Big John Trucking for over 30 years and trucking was his life. He was preceded in death by his father John Winfred Weimorts. Mr. Weimorts is survived by his wife Sarah Weimorts; mother, Merle Weimorts; two sons, John Marshall (Paula) Weimorts, Devin Eugene Dillard; daughter, Aliece Dillard (David) Rockwell; six grandchildren, Austin Weimorts, Kyle Weimorts, Jacob (Liz) Rockwell, Benjamin (Molly) Rockwell, Jeptha Rockwell, Nathan Rockwell; one great granddaughter, Winter Rockwell; brother, Joe Winfred (Lydia) Weimorts; sister, Theresa Ann (Michael) Whalen. Visitation will be on Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Eastern Gate Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013 at 3:00 pm at the funeral home and burial will follow at Eastern Gate Memorial Gardens.
