Johnny L. "Bill" Miller, Sr. was born on September 20, 1940, in Santa Rosa County, Florida. He went to be with his Lord on February 27, 2021, after a long struggle with Alzheimer's. Bill was a long-time employee of Exxon Mobil Corporation, working as a plant superintendent in Santa Rosa County, Florida, and assisted in sour gas operations in Indonesia and Venezuela.
He was predeceased in death by his parents, W.F. Miller, Sr. and Anna Miller; four brothers, Leon Miller (Mattie); Fred Miller (Frances); Curlan Miller; and W.F. "Dub" Miller, Jr. (Willodean); sisters Jewel Johnson (Emery); Janie Cleveland (Earl); Emma Barnes (Noah); Margie McCoy (Bill); and Betty Harrison (Clifford).
He is survived by his sons, Ronald Miller of Pensacola, and Johnny L. Miller, Jr. (Adrianna) of Pensacola; a granddaughter, Kelsey Erin Miller of Pensacola; and a sister, Gracie Perritt, of Pace, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including a very special nephew, Dale Barnes, of Pensacola.
